The boy who picked the bullets up

A few weeks ago… on either this blog, or my video blog… someone suggested reading “The boy who picked the bullets up.” I love to read. So I went on Amazon.com and bought a used copy of the book… thinking that if one of my guys liked it… maybe I would too. Fuck. I’m transfixed. I’m about 380 pages in to a 420 page book and I’m fuckin’ in love with Kurt Strom. I’ve looked back through about 4 months of comments and can’t find who recommended this book. Babe, whoever you are… I fuckin’ love you for this!

Don’t even fuckin’ ask.

I’ve absolutely loved putting this post together – as a tribute to all my gay brothers who’ve served in the military despite the discrimination they’ve had to suffer. If you haven’t read “The boy who picked the bullets up,” by Charles Nelson – I definitely recommend it. (I see that used copies can be bought on Amazon.com for as little as $1.17). It’s a wonderful read!
