Hey, dude. October is “National Book Month”

On Tuesday, we received an e-mail from Jingle, saying: “Hey Buff! I just learned today that October is National Book Month! Do you think that there’s time to do a post on that topic?!?! I have a few pics I’m going to send you! Love you, babe! John
Well, of course, babe. There’s always time for a “bookworms” post. Thanks for sending the pics. This was fun!

Happy birthday, dear Brad… Happy birthday to you!

It goes without saying that Brad is one of UnrulyDude’s dearest friends – and a loyal and important CCC member. Babe, we love you – hope this is your best birthday ever – and wish you good health and every happiness in the coming year! xoxo David and Ben

Check it out, dude. “Bookworms”!

Way back on April 11th, our buddy Brad commented, saying:
“It’s been a long time since you guys have done a “books” post…Isn’t it time for another one? 😉”
So, we started collecting pics – got sidelined – and the post hasn’t happened. Until now. Sorry about the delay, Brad. Hope these “Bookish Boys” do it for you.
Incidentally, we think it’s always interesting to see what guys are reading. After finding pic #41, I did a little on-line research and bought a (used) copy of “Snow Country” by Yukio Mishima. It’s considered Mishima’s masterpiece and is beautifully written, but I found it pretty “heavy going.” David tried it and didn’t think it was worth the effort. I suppose the fact that Mishima was a deeply conflicted homosexual Japanese dude who ended his life by committing hara-kiri should have tipped me off. I also read “Gulliver takes Manhattan” by Justin Luke Zirilli, (see pic #1). It was kind of fun, but not my idea of what gay sexuality is about. I love reading gay fiction – and if anyone wants some recommendations, let me know and I’ll tell you what I DO like 🙂
