Dude. It’s a “Friends Friday” peek at the “Art of the fuck.”

Hey, guys. It’s Rick. Finally getting back to our “Friends Friday” routine.
We’ve been really, really busy here in the Northland. Yesterday and today, we’ve moved Cal and Alex out of their condos and into their new villa. David, Ben, Dub, Keon, Alex, Cal and I packed and moved everything and we managed it without even as much as a bar glass getting broken. Been a lot of work, but it’s done and we’re excited for them in their new home. Cal will head out to Australia tomorrow to get things settled with Bella – and to move her home. We’re looking forward to welcoming the newest addition to our little extended family.
In the mean time, hope you guys enjoy a quick peek at “The art of the fuck”!
Rick and Keon

It’s a rare, Sunday edition of “Friends Friday”.

Hey, guys, it’s Rick. I wasn’t going to do a post this week because of Jingle’s comment about last Friday’s post of Kent Neffendorf’s work. He said,
“Maybe it’s just a case of bad timing, but after yesterday’s beautiful, elegant and sophisticated post; this man’s work seems a little sophomoric and vulgar.”
Here’s the deal. On the one hand, Keon and I both think Kent’s art is wonderful and don’t think it’s “sophomoric and vulgar” On the other hand, we have nothing but the highest respect for Jingle’s opinions, and know URD wouldn’t amount to much without his insightful comments. So, I thought maybe he had a valid point and I started wondering if we’d been doing too many “gay artists” posts. I told Keon I thought maybe it’s time to “shift gears” and find other topics. Keon said, “Look, babe. You know what they say about opinions. They’re like assholes – everyone has one. You’re just being silly if you think everyone is gonna like everything we post.”
Then, several of you said you missed “Friends Friday” and I decided maybe we should keep on doing what we’re doing, and when someone doesn’t like a post, they can skip it. So, here we are with the work of another gay artist we think is amazing. It’s someone named “Fab,” and I haven’t been able to find anything about him anywhere. If you’re interested, here’s his tumblr:
I should warn you that his work involves about the same number of males and females, so if neckid ladies offend you, you may want to skip the tumblr.
We love you guys and hope you enjoy what we post – or at least most of it 🙂

Dude. It’s another “Friends Friday” look at the work of a favorite gay artist!

Hey, guys. It’s Rick again. This weeks’ artist is one of Keon’s and my favorites, Kent Neffendorf. Kent was born in 1959, and is an American homoerotic artist who lives in Texas. Here’s a review:
“The art of Kent depicts nude and partially clothed male figures as icons of masculinity and sexuality. The subjects are exhibitionists or voyeurs or both. (His paintings) feature pinup works, crotch shots and glimpses of the modern life of gay men cruising and engaging in sex with an emphasis on clothing as fetish. Underwear bulges, particularly briefs and boxers, are an ongoing obsession.
Kent’s illustrations have appeared in the publications Men, Mandate, Playguy, Freshmen, Torso, Honcho and the Advocate and the novels of Felice Picano and Gordon Merrick. He is among the artists featured in the Tom of Finland Foundation.”
One of the things that appeals most to us about Kent’s work is his emphasis on nipples. We’re guessing our buddy “Anthony” will like this about the post 🙂
