It’s a “Friends Friday” look at ginger boys and ginger hunks!

In response to our post of “ginger boys in their undies,” “bw” commented, saying:
“Keon – since you got us all hot and bothered with these ginger boys, I think a follow-up post of gingers naked as the day they were born is sorely needed. Please???”
That’s a great idea, and since I’d mentioned the change in Rick from when I met him until now, I thought I’d “have a go” at matching up some pics of younger gingers and ginger hunks. I’m not sure how well I’ve succeeded – but it sure was fun! xoxo Keon (and Rick)

The Chiefs played Denver in a snowstorm on Sunday so the gang all got together over at Ty and Damien’s place for “tailgating” and to watch the game in their media room. We had a blast! We had huevos rancheros (and margaritas for the adults) out on the driveway in the snow before the game and the kids absolutely loved it. After throwing lots of snowballs, they were a snow-covered mess when we went in to watch the game.
By the way, Chance was with us and all his bandages have now been removed. Outside of a spot where they shaved his head, you’d never know he had the surgery. We’re all excited for him to have his implant turned on (the first week in January).

Hey, guys, it’s Keon. When Rick and I first met, he was a skinny little ginger boy, but since we’ve been together, he’s been seriously dedicated to working out. Now he’s a total ginger HUNK, and everywhere we go, I notice guys (and girls) checkin’ him out. He’s also gotten really particular about his underwear. Briefs, boxers, boxer briefs, you name it… he’s got ’em all. He may not be as obsessive as Alex about undies, but he’s a close second. It’s o.k. with me because I really like looking at him in them. Anyway, that got me thinking about ginger guys in undies and I thought maybe that’d make a good UnrulyDude post. Lot of hot guys here, but NONE hotter than my hubby!

Sunday evening, we asked Tra what he wanted for Christmas. He said “I don’t know.” I said “Sure you do. There must be something you’d really like.” He said “It’d prolly cost too much.” I said “What is it?” He just stood there thinking for a while and then blurted out “What I really want is a Mini-drone with a camera.” That took Rick and me totally by surprise… but we told him he’d need to put it in a letter to Santa… so he did. After we read for a while and he went to sleep, Rick said “What do you think about a drone?” I said “He’s probably too young for a drone – but maybe it’s something we could do together. It’d be fun learning about it and how it works.” So, you guessed it. Travon is getting his mini drone (with camera) for Christmas. We figure Tra should have what he wants because before we became a family we don’t think he got much of anything from Santa.

It’s a “Friends Friday” look at some red-hot redheads!

Hey. It’s Keon. For the last couple of weeks, Rick has been posting guys who celebrate the diversity of our group here in the KC Northland. He’s posted black dudes (thinking of me) and Hairy dudes (thinking of Ben). This week, I thought I’d take over and post some gingers – thinking of my hubby. Honestly, until I met Rick, I’d never thought that much about redheads – and now I think about ’em all the time. So, here are some hot ginger boys I hope you’ll like. You’ll recognize pic #47 because I’ve posted it before. It’s the dude who most reminds me of Rick. xoxo Keon (and Rick)

We all went to Church yesterday morning (David, Ben, Dub, Cal, Alex, Izzie, Damien, Ty, Austin, Rick, Travon and me). After Church, we stopped for a big brunch, and afterward, Travon went home with Dub. He thinks Dub is the greatest thing ever and talks about him all the time. Then, we all spent yesterday afternoon/evening at David and Ben’s house watching the Super Bowl. We thought it was the BEST SB ever, and really, really enjoyed watching the Eagles beat the Pats.
Quick update on Travon. Overall, he’s showing steady progress. Has his good days – and some not-so-good – but he’s talking more and more and seems mostly happy. He didn’t have any decent clothes when he got here, so our friends took care of that. He’s smaller than Dub, Austin and Erik, so now he has a closet full of things they’ve outgrown. One day last week, I walked by his room and saw him sitting on the floor in front of his open closet just looking at all his clothes. He’s so proud of them. He was a perfect little gentleman at brunch yesterday and ate everything with his fork and spoon. I know that may not seem like a big thing, but trust me – it is! Ms Pam says he’s doing much better at day care now. Said he seemed “scared silly” at first, but now he, Izzie and Kylie are big buds. Izzie calls him her “other brother” and you can tell they really like each other.
So, all things considered, we think it’s going real well. We read to him every night and he has “Muff” to keep him company in bed. Rick and I know there’ll be challenges ahead, but we love being foster dads – and we love Travon!
