Happy Halloween, guys!

Well, how COOL is this? Our neighbors 3 doors up the street have a 4 year old daughter and a 3 year old son – and the mother dropped by this morning – introduced herself – and said she had seen our little guy as we were coming and going – and wanted to know if he’d like to go trick-or-treating with her kids this evening. She said they’d only be going to a few houses in the immediate neighborhood and I’d be welcome to come with them. So I asked Dub if he wanted to do that and he’s so excited he’s about to go crazy. I went on-line and found this ghost costume and showed it to him. He liked it – so I made him one just like it. You wouldn’t believe how cute he looks in it. The pups are NOT impressed with having a ghost in the house – so there’s been a lot of barking. I told Dub he’d have to have a nap this afternoon if he was going trick or treating. He’s laying down resting now but I doubt he’ll be able to sleep.
Of course, I’ll have to record the first part of the World Series game as trick-or-treating goes from 6 to 8 p.m. – but I doubt we’ll be out that long.
It’s wonderful having neighbors who obviously aren’t bothered by having a gay couple and their boy living nearby.
We hope you guys have a wonderful – and safe – Halloween!
