Rock Chalk Jayhawks!

Those of us who are serious KU Jayhawks fans had one of the most exciting evenings ever yesterday. Our whole group was together over at Ty and Damien’s place to watch the game… and the atmosphere was much like when the Chiefs won the Super Bowl.
After a terrible first half – and down as many as 16 points – the “Hawks” came storming back to win 72-69 over a very talented North Carolina team. It was amazing and the kids went absolutely crazy.
Since none of the kids have ever attended a game in Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, David and I have promised ourselves we’ll get tickets for a game next year. It’s an atmosphere unlike any other in sports.
Even Callum (who firmly believes that EPL soccer is the ONLY real sports competition) had to admit it was “a very entertaining match.” 🙂
