“Just an April fool”?

Hey, guys. It’s Keon. I enjoyed Ben’s recent “mono pits” post so much that I decided to do one myself. Whether hairy – or not so much – ain’t nothin’ better than a dude’s pits!

I know a lot of people have been offended by “Dr. Oz’s” appearance as a guest host on Jeopardy. I can understand that. On the other hand, I think “Dr. O” may be onto something. I mean… if the conversion therapies he’s promoted on his t.v. show can change a homosexual dude into a straight one… I’m thinking maybe they could change a black dude into a white one. That’s pretty exciting. Heck. I wouldn’t mind being white for a change. Maybe I’ll become a republican? Or maybe “Dr. O” is just a money grubbing huckster and I’m an April fool 🙂 xoxo Keon (and Rick)

A “grand day” with the grands!

Hey, guys. Wanted you to know we had an awesome day with the grandparents on Saturday. It rained all day so we were forced to stay inside, but Alex had reserved the Koala Cove clubhouse so it was all good. There were lots of hugs and a few tears and a whole bunch of catching-up chatter. It was David’s birthday so we all sang to him and, of course, Jim and Carol brought hand-crank ice cream and angel food cake stuffed with strawberries for his special day. At one point, we had four cornhole games going at the same time. It was a “GRAND time” after much too long a separation from the ones we love. The pandemic for sure isn’t over – but for one glorious day, it sure seemed like it was.

Dude. Check out these colorful guys in black and white!

Hey, all. It’s Keon. It’s been a while since we’ve had a post in “black and white” and, since they’re some of my favorite pics, I thought I’d put some up.
Things are getting settled down after a busy holiday – and the kids were really excited about getting back in school this morning.
Travon totally loves the new I-Watch he got for Christmas. Now he can read his text messages instantly from his wrist, ask Seri questions without getting out his phone, and keep track of the number of steps he takes each day. When I was his age, no kid had a watch – and “smart watches” didn’t exist. Makes me feel kind of old.
Rick and I were talking and decided “Denny” must be psychic. I mean, he was talking about Diana getting pregnant before any of the rest even thought about it. We may need his special skills as time goes on 🙂
HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone. Hope 2021 is a whole lot better than 2020! xoxo Keon and Rick
