Dude. It’s the pits!

Alex and Callum have been over every day this week. Alex calls and talks with Dub – and they make arrangements – and, after day-care, they come over. They’ve spend some time in the basement in “Ft. Dub” (where Callum has obviously been given the daily password), but mostly they work in the garden. The garden is beautiful (David says the guys just stand around… daring a weed to pop up somewhere) and it’s clear they love working in it with Dub. Yesterday, I saw them working (shirtless) in the garden – grabbed some bottled waters – and went to join them.
While Callum isn’t all that hairy, I couldn’t help noticing that with his shirt off – even with his arms at his sides – you can see his pit hair sticking out. It looks cool, and I’m wondering if it’s maybe long enough to braid? Anyway, it got me thinking about pits… and it hasn’t been that long since we did a “pits” post… but here’s another. I don’t think Anthony will mind 🙂

Dude. It’s tha pits!

We want to thank Keon and Rick. For yesterday’s amazing post… and for all their help on Thanksgiving day – and Christmas lighting. We thought the post was creative and fun… and appreciate all the work that went into it.
Thanksgiving was wonderful. It was a house full of family, friends and good cheer. So much to be thankful for. Dub needn’t have worried about having only turkey, dressing and brisket to eat. We had a huge salad, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and broccoli with cheese sauce. David even grilled a bunch of fresh asparagus, so our little veggie-lover didn’t go hungry. We hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
We went a little crazy with outside lighting this year. Keon and Alex did the climbing and outlined the entire roofline with lights – while David, Rick, Dub and I decorated the shrubs and trees and hung wreaths. It’s beautiful and Dub is sooo excited about it.
On kind-of a sad note, my little sister and her (former) finance have called off the wedding. We didn’t get details… it’s just “off.” She didn’t seem too upset about it when we talked, but I know she’s disappointed.
We’re really getting into the holiday spirit now. David, Dub and I will be working one day each week at “Harvesters.” They do great work feeding the less-fortunate all year. Also, we still have most of our Christmas shopping to do.
Thanks again to our wonderful friends, Keon, Rick and Alex. Good friends are a treasure – and we think of all of you as good friends!

Dude. It’s time for a pit stop!

Our buddy Jordan commented a couple of days ago, saying: “Now that it’s finally summer, i think its time for another armpit day!!!!” We thought it was a great idea and picked out some pics of pits in the great out-of-doors. Thanks for the suggestion, babe!

Craig wasn’t at the job site Monday morning and I asked the lead framer if he knew where he was. He said he’d called and said he’d be a little late because he had a “doctors appointment.” He got there about 10:30 and I asked him if everything was o.k. He just grinned and said, “Never better.” He hung around after we finished up for the day and when everyone else was gone, he said, “I spent a lot of time looking at your blog yesterday – and I think it’s cool as Hell.” I read about you and David sometimes having sex with other guys – and about how you didn’t do it unless they’d been tested for s.t.d.’s. I didn’t know if you’d want to have sex with me, but – just in case – I went to the clinic and got tested this morning. I thought it was a good idea to get tested anyway – and I’ll get the results on Thursday.” I told him I’d talk with David about it but I was pretty sure we’d be “up for it.” He said he liked that we didn’t care whether guys were cut or uncut because he has a real long foreskin.
So, I talked with David about it and he said he thought having sex with Craig would be cool and why didn’t we do a “foreskin week” on the blog in his honor. We’re gonna start it tomorrow.
