It’s a “Friends Friday” look at dudes poppin’ a bone ‘n snappin’ a pic!

Hey, guys. It’s Rick. Sorry we haven’t posted anything lately, but we’re just sooo frictin’ busy. I manage the nursery full-time and take two graduate level courses – and Keon works really hard in their business and runs their trade association… and then, there’s Travon and Max and the house and lake cabin – and there just aren’t enough hours in the day!
David and Ben have been posting dudes who are “hangin’ loose – and I thought, fuck, man. how about some good old BONERS. So I put these pics together and though maybe you’d enjoy them as much as I do?
On an unrelated subject, Keon had a call this morning from someone at the Department of Social Services wanting to know if we’d be interested in fostering a kid that they’ve been having a little trouble placing. He said he’d talk with me and get back to them. Obviously, with all we have going on, fostering a kid is kind of out of the question for us right now… but then… it’s apparently a kid that really needs a home. Hard to believe the State people would be calling us about fostering a child after all we went through with them while we were fostering and adopting Tra. We’ll just see what happens, I guess.
xoxo Rick and Keon

Dude. It’s “Amateur Hour” on UnrulyDude!

Last week David did a post of “professional models” and mentioned that both he and I really prefer pics of “amateur” dudes. That’s true… but it doesn’t mean we don’t like “dude eye-candy” whether the guys are amateurs – or showing their junk for pay. Anyway, in response to David’s post, Jingle said “I’ll bet my left nut that in a few days, there’s gonna be a follow-up post of “real” dudes!!” We definitely don’t want our buddy to lose his “left nut” so here are the amateurs. Hope you guys like ’em as much as we do!

Dude. Time for a little amateur potpourri!

Last week, David did an “amateurs” post… and that got me thinking about my own “amateurs” folder. While mine (the folder) isn’t nearly as big as his, there are a ton of hot dudes in it. So, I decided to put together this “amateur potpourri”. Maybe you guys find something here you like?

Saturday, David, Dub, Keon, Rick, Tra, Cal, Alex, Bella, Ty, Damien, Austin and I went to dinner at “Jack Stack Barbeque” down by Union Station. It took a while to get a table for 12, but the food was excellent and we had a great time. While we were waiting for our orders, these two older guys…probably in their 70’s?… stopped by our table and introduced themselves. Their names are “Marty” and “Gary” and they’re from Dallas, headed to Canada for a fishing vacation. Said they wanted to try some KC BBQ on the way. Marty sort of whispered “Are you guys gay?” to David and David smiled and said, “Indeed we are.” Both of them got kind of choked up and Gary was wiping tears from his eyes. Marty said “You’re perfect. Exactly what we’ve wanted all our lives. Gay men having dinner with friends and families and being proud of who they are. You’re an inspiration.” We talked a while longer and they went around the table introducing themselves to all 12 of us. They especially seemed to enjoy talking with the kids. Presently, our food arrived and they said they had to get to their hotel and get rested up for a long day of driving the next day. Just before they left, David slipped Marty a business card with “” written on the back.
After dinner, Alex passed around copies of a spread sheet he’s put together for decorating and furnishing Keon and Rick’s cabin. The plan is for everyone to spend time working on it the week of the 4th, and if everything goes as Alex has it planned, it’ll be finished by the 4th. Keon said, “Alex, that’s a really big job. I doubt we’ll finish it on your schedule. Alex just grinned and said “Why do you doubt, grasshopper? Not to worry. We’ll be tucking your sweet butts into your bed while the fireworks are still going off around the lake.” It’s a big job, indeed… but I’ve learned it’s never a good idea to bet against Alex ☺
One last thing. When we were leaving the restaurant, we hadn’t received a check, so we went to the cashier to pay. The cashier said “It’s been taken care of by the two gentlemen you were talking with earlier. We were all speechless. We had no idea. So, Marty and Gary, if you’re reading this (as we hope you are) THANK YOU. And welcome to UnrulyDude!
