Dude. Let’s get Wet!

Alex was here this afternoon. He and Dub have been working on a new album they’re calling “Good things, fun things, garden things, Dub things.” They’ve been taking pictures (with the new camera pop-pops gave Dub for his birthday) and including them in the scrapbook. I swear, if it’s possible, I think Alex is more excited about the garden than Dub is. I asked him where Spence was and he said “We’re kind of taking a break. I mean, I really like Spence – and the sex has been the best I’ve ever had – but I think he’s getting ‘way too serious. He’s mentioned marriage several times and I think it’s silly to even be thinking about that. It’s just that I’d like to spend some time getting to know him before we rush into anything. I told him that, and I think I may have hurt his feelings… but that’s the way it is… and that’s how it’s gonna be.”
I told David about it tonight and he said he thought Alex had it right. I guess we’ll just see where (if anywhere) this goes 🙂

It’s a Friday wetness flashback!

It’s what we do now. No matter who is here… when we go to the hot tub, we just strip down to our undies and get wet. It’s not a big deal. Keon, Rick… Ben, Dub, and me. We just strip to our undies and hop in. In a way, it’s better than being neckid. Sort of – but not really.

Dude. Let’s get WET!

David and I have saved money every month for the past year – planning to take a vacation this summer. Somehow, with me working construction and doing paint jobs with Craig – and Donnie’s death and Dub being here – we haven’t gotten around to it – and don’t have anything planned. So, we were sitting out on the patio this afternoon having margaritas and I said, “You know what would be nice out here?” He said, “What?” I said, “Well, we’ve got a bunch of money in our vacation savings and I was thinking maybe we could use it to put a hot tub out here. We have plenty of room and I think we’d really enjoy it. I think Dub would like it too.” David thought for a minute and said, “I think it’d be great – but we don’t know whether Dub will be coming back.”
I said, “Of course he will. How could he not?” David said, “I just don’t want you to get your hopes up and then be disappointed.”
I said, “I won’t be. I promise.”
So we’re gonna go look at hot tubs tomorrow. I think Dub will really like it!
